Started with one client and a very high standard.
Dana Whitlock cleaned houses through college and noticed something: clients did not want a different stranger every week. They wanted the same trusted person who knew the house.
So when she started Brightside in 2015, she built the whole company around that one idea. Every home gets an assigned two-person team. The same faces, visit after visit, year after year. Two of our original clients from 2015 are still on the Friday route.
Today Brightside is a team of eight, every one of them background-checked, bonded, insured, and trained on the same 50-point checklist Dana wrote at her kitchen table. She still does quality visits every week, and she still folds towels in thirds. Always in thirds.
